Motion-activated light bulbs work when anyone moves within their sensing range, which is up to 15 meters. They turn on the light for 20 seconds and then switch it off again if there?s no movement. To maximize energy savings, they have a light sensor that prevents them from turning on if another light is already illuminating the area.
